September 15 and 22, 8:00: Sedona Heritage Museum
Next week we’re meeting at 8:00 at the Sedona Heritage Museum in Sedona at 735 Jordan Rd. Link to the website is HERE: https://sedonamuseum.org/. There’s plenty to paint on the grounds of the museum, including great red rock views, old barns and buildings, and plenty of shady trees. When the gallery opens at 11, you can visit the Sedona is Life: Sedona and Route 66 exhibit.

September 1 and September 8, 8:00: Windmill Park
There is plenty of parking at Windmill Park in Cornville where the water lilies should be at their peak There are bathrooms and shade above the picnic tables. Link and directions here: https://www.azwatchwildlife.com/windmill-park
August 18 and August 25, 8:00: Tlaquepaque
There is ample parking at Tlaquepaque, either in the large parkinglot to the right of the buildings or in front, near the fountain or to the left, near El Rincon. Bathrooms are off the main courtyard. Please be courteous to Tlaquepaque’s vendors and don’t set up in front of a shop entrance. If you like lovely and odd architecture, flowers, fountains and sculpture, this place is for you. You can also paint along Oak Creek under the sycamores if you want to paint water. August 4 and August 11, 8:00: Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Since there is an entry fee and some of us have annual passes, we will meet at the ballpark parking area for our Under the Bridge spot and carpool into the park from there. If you want to meet us in the park after paying the $10 entry fee, we usually paint by the first lagoon under the cottonwoods. There is ample parking and restrooms. July 21, and July 28: Tuzigoot Take-Out on Verde River
This location is the parking lot on the Tuzigoot Road. First right after you cross the bridge. It’s a short walk from the parkinglot to the shady sycamores along the Verde.

July 7, 8:30 – Under the Bridge
Cottonwood, before Dead Horse Park, park adjacent to the Cottonwood Community Garden, located at Riverfront Park, west of the Cottonwood Dog Park
The trail head is to the right of the parking lot, near the community garden. Walk the easy trail down to where the bridge crosses the creek.
