August 4, 8:00: Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Since there is an entry fee and some of us have annual passes, we will meet at the parking area for our Under the Bridge spot and carpool into the park from there. If you want to meet us in the park after paying the $10 entry fee, we usually paint by the large fishing pond under the cottonwoods. There is ample parking and restrooms. July 21, and July 28: Tuzigoot Take-Out on Verde River
This location is the parking lot on the Tuzigoot Road. First right after you cross the bridge. It’s a short walk from the parkinglot to the shady sycamores along the Verde.
July 7, 8:30 – Under the Bridge
Cottonwood, before Dead Horse Park, park adjacent to the Cottonwood Community Garden, located at Riverfront Park, west of the Cottonwood Dog Park
The trail head is to the right of the parking lot, near the community garden. Walk the easy trail down to where the bridge crosses the creek.
